This workshop is free and is open to Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women members only.
The workshop will be led by the Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBENC), which is the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and an advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs. Our speaker, Lauren Linakas will guide us through this process.
This certification helps to endorse the women-owned businesses and market them to corporations as a way to diversify their own business. It also provides a network of other certifiably women-owned businesses, so they can do joint -ventures or provide discounts to one another.
