Professor and Author

Linda Levine Madori, received her PhD from NYU in applied psychology and has worked in the field of Health Care as a psychotherapist, professor, lecturer, author and researcher.

In 2007 and again in 2009, Dr. Levine Madori was twice awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to teach globally her innovative and dynamic new methodology published in 2007, Therapeutic Thematic Arts Programming for Older Adults, or The TTAP Method.

In 2015, Dr. Levine Madori was one of 29 residents living in Westchester County to be recognized as a Leader and Visionary in bringing forth her innovative approach to many areas of healthcare.

Dr. Levine Madori area of expertise is in brain wellness throughout the life span and today you will learn what use it or lose it really means.

Antonia Petrash recently retired as the Director of the Glen Cove Public Library, where she managed the local history collection. She has published two other books on women’s history, More Than Petticoats: Remarkable New York Women, and More Than Petticoats: Remarkable Connecticut Women.

Our models this past year wore the latest business and evening fashions from stores such as White House Black-Market and our Vendor Showcase was full of incredible gifts for your home, fashion accessories, beauty gift items, as well as sports and entertainment memorabilia for men. Proceeds from our raffle sales went towards our Scholarship Fund.

Research shows that Wellness and Mindfulness programs in businesses has benefitted employees ability to improve clarity,focus and expediency within their work environment. One of the hardest areas for all of us, especially women to focus on, is self-care and life/work balance.

At our first Focusing on You! Mind Body Spirit Wellness Event held October 21 2015, we addressed each of these important aspects of life fulfillment through the wisdom and professional expertise of our presenters and wellness educators.
